I had the pleasure of showing this painting to Mr. A.H. Chatfield of Aldermere Farm shortly after it was finished. He said, "Now those are some fine looking animals." Coming from the man known as, "a towering force behind the development of the Belted Galloway breed" in the US...that was praise of the highest order.
