| This old truck was in a field in North Nobleboro, Maine. To those familiar with the area, they might wonder about the water in the view. It doesn't actually exist. In the actual background there are rolling hills - no water. As I was working on the painting, I decided I wanted to play up the coldness and abandoned feeling of it all. Adding the cold coastal waters with waves coming in and distant islands seemed the best way to do it. |
