The Cold From Hell

I'm currently battling the cold from hell.  Caught it from my brother, but his version wasn't nearly as nasty as mine is.

It never seems to fail, whenever I announce a special project I get hit with something big.  My ribs are so sore from all the coughing...this is one of the toughest I've had in years.  BUT, I do feel like I'm beginning to turn the corner at least.  Sleeping a little better anyway.

Whenever I get something like this, I try to avoid taking cold/cough medicine or anything like that due to my inner ear problem.  But Saturday I did take some .   It put me on the floor, litterally.  I remember standing by the kitchen door and then waking up on the floor.

Well, I'm going to try to get some painting done.  Tired of lying in bed....

Hey, it's not all bad. I just saw a flock of Robins. Spring is on the way!

Brian, that sounds miserable. I think I might even go wash my hands after just reading your blog! I've read that if you take something for a cold, it lasts a week. If you don't take anything, it lasts 7 days. Rest up so you don't get bronchitis or pneumonia! (Apparently you don't have a wife or girlfriend or neighbor lady to remind you of this sort of thing, or else you wouldn't have ended up on the floor!)

Thank you, Jana. I usually avoid that stuff but I was getting so frustrated with this garbage, I gave in. Never used to be a problem...before the inner ear trouble existed, that is. Now it's always a risk.

I've had so much rest I'm getting tired of resting. Waiting to die is more what it feels like. :/ But I have had pneumonia four or five times. So I have to watch it whenever I get hit with this kind of thing.

Needless to say...I don't like it.
