Art Auction Will Benefit Youth Programs At Niagara Arts & Cultural Center – City & Region – The Buffalo News

The works include paintings, sculpture, drawings and photographs. The pieces, which will range in value from $100 to $3,000, will be auctioned off, with bidding starting at $25. Artists who donated their time and talents are: Michael Beam, curator of the Castellani Art Museum; Karl Heerdt, winner of the Weatherburn Gallery Award of Excellence for best landscape from The Oil Painters of America; Jonathan Rogers (formerly John Leach), animator of Casper the Friendly Ghost, GI Joe, My Little Pony and creator of Witchs Night Out; Jay Carrier, internationally acclaimed contemporary Native American artist; George Miller, master oil painter known as the The Last Renaissance Artist; and Kurt Von Voetsch, professor of fine arts at Niagara University. Other artists whose work will be featured are Piza, John Briglio, Paula Marie Borkowski, Jeffrey Bagneschi, Mary Grace Ohrum, Eileen Wrobel, Tim Maloney, Heather Johnson, Andrea Galyn, Kyle Esposito, Jason Buckley, Danielle Grace DePalma, Brook DAngelo, Michael Kudela, Kelly Buckley & Norma Higgs, Ruth Thomas and Elizabeth Pagano. The event is open to the public. Payment for the art is due upon purchase and credit cards will be accepted.
